ASL PC Steward

Native Windows · Local-first diagnostics

A clearer picture.
A calmer PC.

Find what deserves attention—and understand why. Steward turns Windows performance and configuration evidence into specific, plain-language explanations, without changing your PC during a scan.

From symptoms to specifics

Know where to look next.

01 / EXPLAIN

Open any issue

Expand a finding to see what it means, exact scan evidence, severity, confidence, limitations, and a specific next step. No unexplained warning badges.

02 / OBSERVE

Monitor when you need it

Start Active Monitor from the top of Overview. Choose a target interval from 2 to 60 seconds. Slow sources are bounded; scans never overlap. The monitor remains off on launch.

03 / INVESTIGATE

See the whole background

Review grouped processes, Windows sessions, scheduled tasks, startup entries, running services, storage, shares, and reported antivirus registrations in one app.

04 / DISTINGUISH

Understand your drives

Separate local disks from removable, mapped-network, and virtual or cloud volumes. Review cleanup locations without deleting their contents.

05 / COMPARE

Look beyond one sample

Review seven days of locally stored health samples, CPU and memory trends, and a sanitized 14-day reliability view. Collection gaps remain visible.

06 / SHARE DELIBERATELY

Keep control of reports

Export JSON or a support ZIP with an inclusion notice and integrity manifest. Identifying details are minimized by default; review every file before sharing it.

A deliberately narrow repair boundary

You stay in charge.

The candidate can request a selected scheduled-task change or sign out a disconnected session. Each shows its target and requests Windows administrator approval. Protected platform and ASL tasks are excluded.

Security-vendor components are review-only. Missing antivirus registration is not proof that a component is safe to stop. Steward does not replace antivirus, a backup, or a technician.

Useful on its own

No ASL broker required.

Most features use built-in Windows information. NVIDIA telemetry appears when compatible tools are present. ASL users can see read-only local GPU broker status without acquiring a lease or controlling another workload.

Current network diagnostics cover local adapter configuration, IPv4, DNS, and a gateway ping—not a complete IPv6, Wi-Fi-driver, or internet reliability test.
